When analysing data, we try to find proof of value. The goal is to create added value for the user and/or operator rather than just gathering big data.
‘Something’ need with big data is the starting point, but to add value to the user and / or operator is the goal. In the public domain one can think of: water management optimisation, detection of leaks and non-revenue water, predictive maintenance and other optimisations.
The added value lies in combining data sets and data streams from different sources. This data (real-time) collecting, analysing and visualizing, so that the management process can be optimized. The data is leading so be surprised by the results and enrich your organization.
